Learning a language can make your business more attractive to foreign customers, can build positive working relationships with colleagues abroad, can inspire your workforce and can, in short, earn you money!

Babble and Speak can send a tutor into your business to teach in your premises, so that time and money are not wasted in travelling to and from a language college. We can work towards certification, eg NVQ or GCSE, or simply towards a greater depth of knowledge for your employees.

We are flexible and can teach in lunch hours, after hours or at weekends. We arrange a preliminary meeting with you to discuss your needs and your employees' previous language learning experience. We then tailor a course just for you, to take into account the language which will benefit your company or organization. A free taster session is delivered so that you can become acquainted with our teaching style before you commit to a course.

During your course of language tuition with Babble and Speak, there is constant opportunity for feedback and to request topics and / or grammar points. We can also arrange intensive training days on your premises and residential language courses abroad.

I started using Babble and Speak for some personal tuition when I began work on a project in France and discovered I would be working closely with a colleague who wasn't fluent in English. Having had several aborted attempts at previous language learning I was apprehensive but I soon found that the way the lessons were structured and the fact that I was given the flexibility to discuss my specific requirements ensured I began to look forward to the classes and quickly made progress. Within three months I have the confidence to email and carry out regular conversations in French, an added bonus has been that my learning has given impetus to my colleague to learn English so communication has become much less an issue than it was at the start of the project.

I can't praise Babble and Speak, and especially Katie, highly enough for their help and approach over these months. There is still a long road to travel before I am fluent but its a journey I intend to take with Babble and Speak.

I am a middle manager employed by the National Probation Service. Last year I was fortunate enough to be invited to Poland as part of a delegation from South Yorkshire Probation Service. I had no time to learn anything beyond a few key words and these had to suffice. For 1 tutee the price per hour is £35. Block-booking discounts bring this to £31.50 (for a booking of 10 lessons) or £29.75 (for a booking of 15 lessons).

For 2 - 5 tutees the price per hour is £45. Block-booking discounts bring this to £40.50 (for a booking of 10 lessons) or £38.25 (for a booking of 15 lessons).

For 6 - 10 tutees the price per hour is £55. Block-booking discounts bring this to £49.50 (for a booking of 10 lessons) or £46.75 (for a booking of 15 lessons).

For 10+ tutees the price per hour is £60. Block-booking discounts bring this to £54 (for a booking of 10 lessons) or £51 (for a booking of 15 lessons).

Please note that block-bookings must be paid in full within one month of the free taster session.

Where no block-booking discount is taken, lessons will be arranged and invoiced monthly.
